Planned Giving
A legacy gift to Vita Living is an investment that provides endless support to the mission of Vita Living and ensures vulnerable people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities have a home in the community regardless of their challenges or financial status. Sustaining gifts help VL to invest in permanent housing and long-term programs.

All individuals who have documented a legacy gift are inducted as sustaining members of the Vita Living Creative Caring Society. Benefits include:
- Recognition on our Society donor wall.
- Acknowledgment in materials at our annual Pearls of Wisdom Dinner.
- Potential income and/or estate tax benefits.
- Knowledge that your investment is sustaining the future of Vita Living.
Types of Planned Gifts
- Including Vita Living in your will.
- Designating us a beneficiary of your retirement plan like a 401k, 403b, or IRA.
- Naming Vita Living as the beneficiary of your fully funded life insurance policy.
- Transferring stocks, bonds, or shares of mutual funds for the benefit of Vita Living
Thank you for thoughtfully considering a gift. We hope you will join us as a sustaining member. If you are interested, please contact Richard Graber, Chief Development Officer, at rgraber@vitaliving.org to get started.
